Our First Time: Staycation at Hotel X

Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I were invited to have a little staycation at Hotel X in Toronto! I know what you’re thinking, yes we just got back from New York… but everything has been so crazy since arriving home, that we were already ready for another weekend adventure! We’re also a little extra too… so we’ll do a staycation whenever possible.

Here’s the beautiful front lobby of the hotel!

We checked into the hotel around 5 to get settled into our room, check out the digs and get some cute photos. Even just upon arriving in the hotel, we were blown away with how friendly and accommodating the staff were and how beautiful the hotel was! Our room was gigantic; as it had a living room area, a king-sized bed and two bathrooms! It was way more extravagant than we expected (in the best way possible).

Here’s the super comfy, king-sized cloud we slept on!

Here’s where I got my outfit ready for the night.

After poking around for a little bit, we decided to jump in the pool for a pre-dinner swim! It’s finally starting to feel like summer in Toronto and with the hot, hot heat in full-swing, a dip was kind of necessary.

Once we got out of the pool and showered, we headed over to dinner – where we had the most beautiful view of the city! After our meal, we popped back out to the pool to catch the sunset and (obviously) snapped more pictures.

Here’s my man, bringing me a towel!

The pretty sunset in all of its glory.

To end off the night, we watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s in the hotel’s own cinema! We lounged in super comfy theatre chairs, snacked on popcorn and shared some laughs, all while becoming enamored with Holly Golightly.

The next day, it was time to grab a quick bite to eat and we headed off to one of the fitness studios to do some morning yoga! It was a great way to start off our day and we couldn’t believe how amazing the fitness facilities were. They even had a giant indoor tennis court AND top of the line gym equipment. Like can I come over for a workout sometime soon, please?

Even though we had a busy 18 hours that we were at the hotel, we were also super relaxed and rested when it was time to check out. Thanks so much to Siren Communications and Hotel X for an amazing stay. I’m definitely coming back for that pool and king-sized bed!

With love,

    1. Right?! It’s always such a great way to spend a weekend. Thanks so much for taking a read girly!

  1. Oh, wow. That staycation looks amazing! Even just stepping into the lobby will give you a hint of what the rest will be like. I’d love to staycation at this place for like a week!

    1. It was such an amazing experience and we’re so grateful and fortunate that we got the opportunity to stay here!

  2. This is such a brilliant idea. I always meant to have a staycation at a hotel when I lived in LA but never got around to it. I don’t blame you at all for booking a room at Hotel X, it’s stunning!
